Nobody likes a busy signal. Not only does it tell you that your call did not go through, but also that you’re not going anywhere. No one wants to be disconnected. There is nothing but frustration in being disconnected. There is life in being connected.

At City Bible Church Baltimore, we want to help you get connected with life giving relationships. You can be better connected with God and with other people. Each of us has been changed for the better through a personal relationship with Jesus. Every week we enjoy a full life in our relationships with Jesus and each other.

We get together every weekend to be better connected with God and with each other.  When we get together you will hear people say that there are, “no perfect people allowed”. That’s our way of saying that we all have a past and we all have a future hope in Jesus. You may also hear one of us say, “Nobody stands alone.” We believe that we are all wired for relationship. No one is designed to be alone. You don’t have to be lonely anymore.

Grow

Do you remember the sight of that bean sprout coming out of the dirt filled milk carton? As a kid you’re jumping around the kitchen declaring yourself, Farmer of the Year. Growing up can be exciting. Growth is natural. You don’t expect your teenager to still be in diapers. We all want to grow. Where there is life – there is growth.

At City Bible Church Baltimore we want to help you grow in your relationship with God and your relationships with others. Remember, we say that with us there’s “no perfect people allowed”. That means that we don’t have it all figured out. We believe that everyone can use a little help. This is why we say, “Nobody stands alone.”

Each of us has a next step to take. At CBCB, we can introduce you to someone, or a group of people, who can help you take that next step. We have “Life Groups” who meet in homes for a variety of reasons. We’ll help you find the focus you’re looking for. You may find life-long friends or a small group that discuss a book for a few weeks. We grow together. As a result our daily life is better. Our families, our work, and our homes are better as we grow in how we pray and how we learn from the Bible.

We would love to learn from you. We would love to help you grow.

What word or sound do you love? “Our children’s laughter.” What word or sound do you hate? “Mine!” It’s not much fun to watch a couple of kids fighting over a toy. Sharing is a part of healthy life. When you find a new dish, at your local café, you know something that really knocks your socks off, you just can’t wait to tell someone about it.

At City Bible Church Baltimore, we want to help you share the good stuff of life. We believe in living generously. Our hope is to help you share the love of Jesus with other people. The life giving mercy and forgiveness we find in Jesus is not meant to be hoarded. It’s meant to be a gift. This motivates us to be generous with our time, energy, and money.

We live to serve Jesus and we love to share Jesus. This sparks a desire in us to serve people and the City of Baltimore. It doesn’t stop there. This life sends us searching for people less fortunate than us here and around the world. We want to help you grow in sharing Jesus and your resources (time, energy, & money). Each of us has needed help. That’s why we say that with us there’s “no perfect people allowed”. Jesus forgave us and gave us new life. That’s why we say that “Nobody stands alone.”

We love to give. We would love to help you find new ways to share.

Weekend Worship

We want to be better connected with God and with each other. That’s why we get together on the weekends for an experience we call “Weekend Worship”. We love to get into one room to sing, pray, and discuss how the Bible helps our daily life. We have a great set up for our kids! They have a fun place to learn. We screen the volunteers and provide a place you can feel comfortable.

When we get together you will hear people say that there are, “no perfect people allowed”. That’s our way of saying that we all have a past and we all have a future hope in Jesus. So please come as you are. Dress the way you’re comfortable and leave that mask at home. We like to be real with each other. Family is great when there’s honesty.

We don’t have it all figured out. Each of us came to a place of accepting the gift of grace in Jesus. We get together to celebrate it and learn more about it. Think about this: God didn’t wait until you were at your best to send Jesus. He knows who you are and what your life is like. We want to help you find the life giving love that we have found in Jesus. At City Bible Church Baltimore you will find people who enjoy real living by believing in Jesus. The weekend worship is a 90 minute experience that’s worth your time!

Life Groups

At City Bible Church Baltimore, we want to help you get connected with life giving relationships. You can be better connected with God and with other people. We are thrilled to have Life Group Leaders who live in a variety of neighborhoods around the city. We would love to help you find a group that will work for you. Thankfully, none of our leaders have it all figured out. Each one knows what it means to need help. We believe that church is not an event to attend on the weekend. We believe that church works when we share life.
